Baipa
presentation
Cláudia
Mabone made her presentation on the second day of the event. In a very
exhaustive intervention that captivated the audience, she spoke of Baipa's
experience in combating counterfeiting and in collaboration with the
authorities (INAE), highlighting the action that last year resulted in the
seizure and destruction of counterfeited Tonners of HP trademark. However, the
epicenter of her speech was related to the products of the PUMA trade mark,
with emphasis on the difference between original and counterfeit products and
how to easily identify the latter. She also addressed the legal treatment of
counterfeiting within the scope of the Industrial Property Code, namely its
typification and punishment.
